Many of TAG Heuer’s F1 watches have a sporty look and can be worn almost every day. However, there is one model in the series whose design caught my eye. Today, we are focusing on the reference number waz2011.ba0843, which has a bracelet made of stainless steel and dark gray ceramic.
The dark gray sunlight dial uses luminous index hour markers on all the hour markers, except for the luminous Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock. The white second hand and seconds hand divide the circumference of the magnetic track around the dial and print a red downward-facing triangle at 12 o’clock with a white interior.
When you first receive a TAG F1 automatic watch, it will most likely be completely unwound. You will need to wind it completely using the shank before you can start working on it. The screw-down crown on this watch locks securely onto the case to prevent water from entering the case and damaging the movement. Therefore, before attempting to wind the watch, be sure to push down and turn the screw-down crown counterclockwise to unscrew it from the case, and then wind it with the crown in its pushed down/neutral position.
